Task 2: Writing Concluding Paragraph

Time to wrap it up! Let's explore how to create a strong conclusion for your essay.

01

How can I effectively wrap up my essay?

A strong conclusion should include these key elements:

    1: Repeat your opinion:

  • "As I've argued throughout this essay, I firmly believe that..."

  • "My position remains unchanged: I am convinced that..."

2: Repeat the main ideas (a high band will be able to rephrase the thesis statement in a refreshing way):

  • "In conclusion, my initial assertion that [thesis statement] remains true."

  • "To reiterate, the main point of this essay is that [thesis statement]."

    3: Provide a recommendation:

  • "Based on my findings, I recommend that..."

  • "To address this issue, I suggest that..."
